U13 Warriors faced Paisley B on Saturday 24th January. This game allowed the coaches to play lots of new players to the club and gave the players much needed experience on court. This was a closely contested game throughout with several combinations being tried for the Warriors. Amber Harvey and Nicole Kinloch did well to pressurise the Paisley shooters and took countless interceptions. Caitie MacGillivray, Nicola Cosgrove-Clark, Ami Matthew, Margaret Reynard and Caitlin Hanson shared the mid court roles with some lovely moments of attacking play. Special mention to Caitie MacGillivray who, despite her small stature, took numerous tips and interceptions from Paisley. Eva McAloon, Eve Sheils and Lois Fish shared the shooting roles and did well to gain possession of the ball against a very strong Paisley defence. The final score was not reflective of the game ending 6-5 to Paisley.
